50 States

Well, I tried to find an interactive map to keep on here and mark off the states where there are people praying for us, but it was easier said than done. However, I have been so moved by hearing about all the prayer chains and lists we're on that I really want to track it. Our goal will be to have at least one person in every state praying for us, so that when God heals me we can spread the good news back out and the entire land will hear of His glorious deeds!

We would really appreciate you asking people in various states to pray, and tracking who they are to make sure they rejoice along with us later. Hopefully we can get at least 5 people in each state praying, in case priorities change over time. Anyway, please let Yaacov, me, or Susan know if you secure prayer in a new state so we can track it (commenting on this page works best, but any other method is great too). The states I am certain of right now are: FL, AL, AZ, GA, MI, OH, NY (and Guatemala).

    I have a group of "molar girls" who went through a molar pregnancy when I did and I have asked them all to pray for you too! So, NC (and my best friend's parents are praying for you in NC too), TX, NY, Ohio and Louisiana, and more in FL! (Tiffany Perez) Praying many times a day!

    Erin, I don't think we've met, but I'm a coworker of Yaacov. A few years back my parents met him at a conference, and they always ask for him and his family. I shared your news with them, and they are praying for you. So you can add Delaware to that list :-) My husband and I are praying for you and your family daily. We are expecting God to work in miraculous ways as He always does.

    We have not met, but I am joining you in prayer constantly. I am good friends with Shannon and Sean Kent. When faced with an incredible mountain to climb, it is sometimes hard to sit back and trust God's plan, but when the mountain is high, we have no other choice but to sit back and let God show us His plan! You will touch MANY people's lives for God's glory; you already have. You are constantly prayed for by me and my 3 kids.

    It has been well over a decade (closing in on two, actually?) since we've seen each other, but I want you to know that I have prayed for you and your family daily since I read your news on Facebook. Actually turned on the Barber "Adagio", and dropped down on my knees and prayed. I am a little embarrassed to tell you that I can't remember the last time I did that.

    I also asked my aunt, who is the head rector of an Episcopal parish in Honolulu, to add you to their prayer list, so you can add Hawaii to your collection of states where people are praying for you.

    I remember the middle school and high school you fondly, you could always make me laugh. I've loved having a peek into your adult life through Facebook - your daughters are just beautiful.

    I will continue to follow your story and pray for your healing.

    Erin - try the link above for your interactive map. You can click for which states you want to check off and then it will give you an image you can post on your blog. Each time you check off a new state you can post a new image. Hope this helps!!!

    Thanks so much for everyone's prayers! I can't believe how amazing you are. There are a ton of people I've never met and probably never will, who are praying for our family, and that is the greatest earthly gift I can imagine! It's possible I missed some on Facebook, but I believe the states we NEED are: AR, CT, IA, MS, MO, MT, NB, NM, ND, SD, RI, WV and WY.

    We have a ton of countries praying that won't show up on the map I'll try to upload. To summarize and praise God we have: China, Argentina, Spain, England, Jamaica, Korea, Peru, Dubai, Guatemala, Canada, France, Germany, Australia, Columbia, and Lebanon. I am so grateful to everyone!

    Erin, Parsons Dahl invited me to your blog. I have added you and your family to my prayer list. I saw where you were trying to keep track of the prayer partners in each state so I've added a friend in Virginia to pray for you as well. She has just had some miracles in her life and answered prayers, so she is on fire for the Lord and knows first hand about healings! We will. follow your blog and pray!!!
